Featured San Francisco Brand Film: Innovaccer Announces the Acquisition of Caduceus Health
Directed by Jasmeet Singh, Founder & Creative Director at 415Headshots Inc. Lead cinematographer on the Innovaccer brand film announcing the Caduceus Health acquisition.
When Innovaccer needed a brand film to anchor the announcement of acquiring Caduceus Health, they did not want a corporate boardroom set or two executives in suits explaining a deal. They wanted San Francisco itself to be a character in the story. Two CEOs meeting the way two founders actually meet, in a cafe in the Mission, on a sidewalk near the Salesforce Tower, with the city alive around them.
The Creative Decision That Defined the Film
The single call that defined the final cut was not in the original treatment. We staged the Caduceus Health CEO walking past the Salesforce Tower during lunch hour, when the city is at its most alive. In the last hour of that shoot day, we added a moment where he pulled out his phone and texted the Innovaccer CEO mid-walk, framing the meeting as a casual hangout between two founders rather than a formal merger sit-down. That texting beat changed the emotional register of the entire film. What started as a corporate announcement became a conversation between two people who happened to be running companies. Modern. Authentic. The way a generational deal actually feels from the inside.
“ Thanks for all the work on the videos! Got great feedback.” — Innovaccer Marketing Team

Why San Francisco Companies Choose 415Headshots for Brand Video Production
We Direct CEOs the Way We Direct Headshot Subjects
A CEO is not a trained actor. The best ones know it. They walk onto a set with a sharp timeline, a board agenda waiting in their inbox, and absolutely no patience for a director who wants to run twelve takes of the same line until something feels right.
That is the problem most San Francisco brand video production companies have not figured out how to solve. They treat the executive like a prop. Stand here. Look there. Try it again with more energy. The result is a film where the CEO looks like a CEO trying to act like the CEO of the film.
We come from headshots. Over the past five years we have directed nervous executives, founders, and first-time on-camera subjects through eight-minute sessions that produce the photograph that ends up on their LinkedIn for the next decade. The skill that gets a stiff founder to laugh on the third frame of a headshot session is exactly the skill that gets a CEO to deliver a single believable line in a brand film. Pacing. Posture. Tone. Eye contact. Quiet coaching between takes that does not sound like coaching.
By the time we are halfway through shot two, the executive forgets the camera is there. That is the only condition under which a brand film stops looking corporate and starts looking like the company itself.
Concierge Production From Discovery Through Delivery
A brand film is not a transactional shoot. It is a multi-week relationship with a marketing team, a PR team, a CEO's executive assistant, and sometimes an investor relations lead. All of them need to be looped in at different moments. None of them should have to chase us for an update.
We work concierge-style. One direct line of communication. Same-day responses on production questions. Pivot capability when the announcement timing shifts, the venue changes, or the keynote message gets rewritten the night before. We have rebuilt a shoot day on 36 hours notice when a CEO's calendar collapsed. That is the operational flexibility a brand film requires.
Cinema-Grade Gear, Chosen for the Story
Every brand film we shoot uses either the Sony FX6 or Sony FX3. Both are Netflix-approved cinema cameras. The difference between them is creative, not qualitative. The FX3 is the mobile body for runs-and-guns and single-camera setups. The FX6 is the full cinema build for shallow depth of field, multi-camera coverage, and complex lighting in low-light interiors.
The Caduceus Health acquisition film was shot on the FX6 specifically because of the indoor cafe scenes. The window light at Hedge Coffee needed a sensor that could pull clean shadows from a single key light without crushing the highlights bouncing off the espresso machine. That is an FX6 problem, not an FX3 problem. We pick the camera for the story, not for the invoice.

How San Francisco Brand Video Production Works at 415Headshots
Discovery Call (free, 30-45 minutes)
The first conversation is usually 30 to 45 minutes with Jasmeet and your project lead. We talk through what the film needs to do, where it lives, who the audience is, and what success looks like 90 days after publish. We are looking for a single sentence by the end of the call that captures the film's intent. Most brand films fail because the intent was never written down.
Treatment and Pre-Production (5 to 10 business days)
We deliver a written treatment within 5 business days of the discovery call. The treatment includes the central narrative thread, the aesthetic direction, the structure beat-by-beat, wardrobe and styling notes, and a shortlist of San Francisco shooting locations chosen specifically for your story.
Shoot Day (1 to 3 days, scoped per project)
Most San Francisco brand films are shot in 1 to 3 days. We arrive early, light fast, and run shoot days in tight blocks built around the executive's calendar. CEOs do not have eight hours to give us. We work in two-hour windows and we hit them.
Post-Production and Delivery (5 to 15 business days)
Standard delivery is 5 business days from wrap to first cut. For clients on a rush PR timeline, we have delivered first cuts inside 48 hours. First cuts are reviewed in Frame.io with timestamped client comments. Most brand films go through 2 to 3 revision rounds before final master. Final masters are delivered in 4K ProRes for archive, H.264 for web, and any custom aspect ratio your campaign requires.
San Francisco Brand Video Production FAQs
-
A typical 415Headshots brand film starts with a 30 to 45 minute discovery call, a written creative treatment delivered within 5 business days, 1 to 3 shoot days across San Francisco locations chosen specifically for your story, and 5 to 15 business days of post-production with 2 to 3 revision rounds. Total timeline from discovery to final master is 4 to 8 weeks for most projects.

A corporate video is functional. It explains a product, a process, or an announcement directly. A brand film is emotional. It establishes who the company is, what it stands for, and how it feels to do business with it. The Innovaccer film announcing the Caduceus Health acquisition is a brand film. A product walkthrough video is a corporate video. Both have a place. The investment level is different.
-
A typical San Francisco brand film takes 4 to 8 weeks from discovery call to final master. Discovery and treatment is roughly 1 to 2 weeks. Pre-production and scheduling is 1 to 2 weeks. Shoot is 1 to 3 days. Post-production is 2 to 4 weeks including 2 to 3 revision rounds. For rush PR timelines, we have compressed first cut delivery to under 48 hours.

Sony FX6 and Sony FX3 cinema bodies, both Netflix-approved. The FX6 is the full cinema build for shallow depth of field, multi-camera coverage, and complex lighting setups. The FX3 is the more mobile body for runs-and-guns and single-camera setups. The choice depends on the creative direction, and we recommend the right tool during the discovery call.

We coach pacing, posture, vocal tone, and eye contact in real time. CEOs and founders consistently tell us they forgot the camera was there by the second hour of the shoot.
-
